Malcolm McArthur & Son Ltd has seen many changes in its years as an Electrical contractor and now even more so as an Electrical and Plumbing contractor. The company has seen seven different versions of the IEE wiring regulations as well as many building standards amendments with considerable note to 2005, 2007, 2010 & 2013 versions as residencies become both safer and more energy savvy. We are members of Select (Scotland’s trade association for the electrical industry) and are annually inspected as part of our membership with NICEIC (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting). We are GasSafe registered and conform to Snipef (Scottish and Northern Ireland Plumbing Employers’ Federation) rules and standards. These memberships and associations help provide assurance that as a contractor, we have the highest levels of accreditation.
